A red hardback book with dust jacket in fine condition.  Lucas Malet was the pseudonym of Mary St Leger Kingsley (4 June 1852 — 1931), a Victorian novelist.  An exquisite novel.

Condition:  A good copy which has age darkened endpapers and inside boards.  Text firm and clean.  Dust jacket has bumps and tears and age darkened, but it is in a protective cover.
