Catalyst™ Wedges are crafted from flexible silicone to allow artists a new form of expression, ergonomically designed to fit in the hand, for use with heavy-bodied paints, both oils and acrylics.

In addition they can be used with plaster, clay and because they are heat-resistant, they excel with encaustics.

The silicone is easy to wipe clean and is solvent resistant, clean up in most cases can be done with mild soap and water or dried paint can be peeled off the silicone surface. 

Their construction makes them more responsive to pressure than metal knives and unlike traditional knives the wedges allow any side to be used.
